The Secret History of Staple Inn

Robin Michaelson, Blue guide, will reveal The Secret History of Staple Inn, covering the 900 year history of this current home of the Actuarial profession that featured in Charles Dickens’ Edwin Drood.

The building is rarely open to the public and was once the home of Samuel Johnson as well as being an Inn of Chancery for Grays Inn.

The Secret History of Staple Inn will take place at 6pm for 6:30pm on Tuesday 26 April. Staple Inn can be found behind the Tudor facade on the south side of High Holborn by Chancery Lane Tube. “
